How We Get Paid (Our Service Fees & Charges)

At Nexora Energy Limited, our main goal is to make it easy for your business to find the best deals on energy, water, and phone/internet services. We believe in being open about everything, so this page explains how we get paid for what we do.

How is our payment included?

Our payment is already included in the price you pay for your energy. It's a small amount added to your energy unit cost (for example, the price per kilowatt-hour).

Let's say: If we find electricity for 15.7 pence per unit, we might add 2 pence, making your final price 17.7 pence per unit. Our payment is then calculated based on this small added amount, your estimated energy use, and the length of your contract. This payment is usually a very small part of your total energy cost and is built into the unit rate you agree to.

Sometimes, energy suppliers might give us extra small payments for each new meter we help them get. But don't worry, these payments don't affect our advice or how fair our comparisons are.

1. Business Energy

We get paid by the energy supplier, not by you. When you sign up for an energy contract through us, the energy supplier pays us a fee once your contract starts. This fee covers all the work we do for you, including:

  • Managing Your Account: We support you throughout your contract.
  • Customer Help: We're here to answer your questions and help with any issues.
  • Service Smoothly: We make sure the whole process, from start to finish, goes well.
  • Comparing Prices: We find and show you the best energy options from different suppliers.
  • Because we get paid by the supplier, you don't need to pay us directly. The money we earn helps us cover our costs and continue to offer great deals and service to businesses like yours. By using our service, you agree to us receiving this payment.

    2. Business Water

    For your business water services, Nexora Energy Limited gets a payment from our trusted water partner when you choose their service through us. This payment is already included in your water service fee as a small addition to your water usage costs over the contract time. So, this cost is part of the water contract you sign through us. You don't pay Nexora Energy directly.

    This payment helps us cover the costs of finding quotes, helping with sales, and managing your switch. It also allows us to keep offering great service and competitive deals. By using our service, you agree to us receiving this payment.

    3. Business Telecoms (Phone & Internet):

    Nexora Energy Limited gets a payment directly from our business telecoms partner when we successfully connect you with their phone or internet services. This is a one-time fee per contract, and the amount can change depending on the specific package you pick. You don't need to pay Nexora Energy directly for this.

    This fee helps us cover our service costs, including getting quotes, providing sales help, and managing your service switch. Our goal is always to give you good results and continue to offer competitive deals for your business. By using our service, you agree to us receiving this payment.

    4. Other Situations Where We Might Charge:

    In some special cases, Nexora Energy Limited might send you an invoice for specific services, especially for complex issues related to business energy. You might get an invoice if we have done any of the following for you:

  • Bill Audit: Reviewing your energy bills to check for errors or ways to save money.
  • Meter Arrangement: Dealing with issues or changes related to your energy meter.
  • Change of Tenancy: Helping with energy contracts when you move into or out of a property.
